ARCHITECTURE, SPACES OF INTERACTION AND EVERYDAY POWER
2018
Set within the modernist architecture at the Inchicore College of Further Education, Buttner engaged with the relationship of art to architecture, with spaces of interaction, and with everyday power. Exploring the female body as object and subject, through sculpture, performance, film and critical thinking. On completion the art objects, were packed in crates, (representative of process), and installed against the backdrop of a film. Providing the space in which the value of process could be explored, was an integeral part of this work.
